We’re mobile!

After a brief trip to the mechanic, our car Chico is ready for a road trip. The VW CitiGolf is a really fun car to drive, especially on the left hand side of the road. The car doesn’t have AC,  power steering, or a computer. It also has a choke…like a lawnmower. It’s exactly what we wanted.

We left Cape Town last night, bound for the Garden Route along the southern coast. We’ve heard that the wilderness area along the Garden Route is amazingly beautiful. So, I’m sure we’ll have more pictures and stories to share soon!
