The Author

Hi, I’m Carrie. I work in marketing by day and I’m a novelist by night. I love many things, but I especially love reading, travel, cooking, yoga, meditation, and anything outdoors. I grew up in a small town, which meant that I took AG science and was an active member of the FFA. I was also the reigning state chainsaw champion at the FFA Logger’s Rodeo.

The Airman

This is my husband, John. He’s a pilot who has flown all around the world from the desert in Namibia to the mountains of southeast Alaska. John is also a human encyclopedia. This guy knows his stuff! Seriously, ask him anything. Like, “What’s the distance from the earth to the moon?” or “Who was the US president  in 1954?” John is Canadian, so he loves Hockey and being polite.
